Hello, my name is Amanda, Founder of Felt Fabulous Gifts.

After 20 years as an Early Years teacher, I discovered felting…. and now I am passionately addicted!

The process of sculpting wool by poking the fibres repeatedly with a barbed needle is magical. I enjoy working with different wools, exploring their varying textures and qualities.

I use British Wool where I can, as I know the welfare standards are high.

I love to make animals with lots of character and a hefty dose of cute! I work on their expressions until they make me smile. Dogs are a particular favourite animal of mine to make, especially their little faces, but I also specialise in Herdwick sheep and owls.
